I think the chrome looks awesome on your car, where you've gone chrome on everything as far as I can see. I'm sticking with the stock wheels though, and having them powdercoated with black on the sides of all the spokes and between spokes. I think that black will tie into my window tint, tires, and my grille that I painted black. I'll see how it looks without touching the strakes and windshield surround. If it's good, I won't touch it, but if the silver stands out in a bad way when the wheels go back on, they're getting painted too. Again though, the chrome looks great on your beast, but I'm staying away from too much shine; just my preference.
I think the chrome thing & the black thing is mostly a generation gap thing, but maybe not. It could be that black trim is the "in" thing, I see it a little everywhere. And not everyone has the same taste for what looks good to them.
