yes, it sounds weird, but i got a 2005 blk 6speed coupe (a bit over a week ago) with only 250 miles on it from a smaller dearler in nys. I went to one of my local auto place and got some mothers leather cleaner, car wash, canuba wax, microfiber cloths and one of those weird cloths that's kinda like a chamois. As I start to wash the car, I can feel all this "stuff" on it- almost like bubbles- the soap didn't take it off- it's on the upper surfaces of the car (lowest parts of the door are free of this stuff) i almost think it's tree sap- I also started to see alot of swirls and micro scratches on the car (I'm a quality control mgr, and anything that seems "wrong" drives me absolutely CRAZY!!!) Needless to say, I did not wax the car. Should I get a polish with a mild abrasive to get the stuff off and minimize the scratches-does this seem like the right thing to do?
The car is going to the dealership next saturday for a few things to be fixed already- In the forums opinion, should i bring up the fact that the car (being sold as new) has this "stuff" on it? or should i just deal with it?
any input is greatly appreciated.
