There was a windscreen I saw that was a metal frame with mesh that extended the full length across and behind each seat. The dog will most likely start scratching and chewing at the mesh (or Plexiglas) trying to get to you. The Plexiglas screens are ~$200 for the ones that cover just the center area between the two seats. DIY ... You could go to Home Depot and build up a PVC frame ($10) using 1/2 inch PVC and a few 45 and 90 degree elbows, then cover it with a mesh type fabric or cargo netting. This will allow the dog to get good air flow. And that way, if the dog starts chewing things up, you are not out a lot of money.

If the dog is well behaved and does not go bonkers in the back seat like a lot of kids I know, then you can opt for a better looking custom windscreen solution. Go to
