Default Re: HID question (couldnt find answer)

I installed HID's in my car a couple months ago and I don't get a light out indicator. It's plug and play. The hardest part for me was on the stock bulbs you can unplug the wire from the back of the bulb and swing the retainer clip up to release the bulb, but with the HID's the wire goes directly into the back of the bulb itself so you can't put the bulb in and just swing the clip back down because the wire is in the way. Instead, you have to remove the retaining clip completely and fish it around the wire in the back of the bulb and back into its little loops in the headlight which I did without removing the headlights but it was a total bear. Don't try that unless you have small hands and a whole lot of patience.
