You did not beat a Z06. If you "think" you beat him, he wasn't trying. Adding an intake to a 215 hp 6.5 second 0-60 Crossfire isn't going to make it able to beat a 400+ hp 4.1 second 0-60 Corvette. Also, I honestly don't think your setup has done anything to improve performance. Your intake is now less of a cold air intake then the stock one... It's pulling in air from the engine compartment instead of from the front of the car, which is obviously going to be warmer. I could see it maybe sounding better, but as for any noticeable performance gains, I just don't believe it.
