Thank all for your replies. THis is a great group of owners helping each other.

I found two access holes in the rear of the front wheelwells.

These are now filled with oval plugs.

There is still one hole in the passenger wheel well, a round one a little over an inch in diameter without a plug, and I still don't know if there is supposed to be one.

I find it interesting that the two wheel wells (07 coupe) are so different.
