I agree with the others that the Valentine One is the way to go. No other detector has the arrows to tell you where it's coming from. But remember that a radar detector does not necessarily keep you away from tickets. Rather, it simply improves your odds. With the instant-on radar in use now, if you're the only or the lead car on the highway, it's not going to help much. But if you're following someone who's running as fast as you, however, you will get adequate warning when the officer strobes the lead car. As far as laser goes, even the V-1 manual states that if your detector signals laser, you've got to slow down real fast. (Meaning: too late, you're screwed.)
