It seems as if both shocks are doing this.

When i had the shocks out it was pretty difficult to compress the shock. So i wouldn't say it was easy.

When the shock was tightened at the top, i can still wiggle a little bit when the a-arm wasn't holding the shock, but once both was tightened it wasn't wiggling at all.

Hmm im pretty sure only the threated part was in the trunk, because i put the rubber below the washer and all i can see from the top was the thread.
