Saldous, unfortunately my iPaq 1910 didn't have bluetooth or a serial connection so it was a TTG or a whole new PDA combo. Given that I never use the iPaq anyway, I figured that this unit would represent a better choice. Most of my friends have wired/bluetooth TT3 solutions which are all excellent. I believe that the TTG is actually closest to the Palm version of TT.

The suction cap arm thing is totally movable, there's a clamp release on the base. It's also supplied with a stick on base for the dash, which you then use with the suction cap. I have heard that you cannot remove the stick on base once it has been applied. Didn't want to learn that the hard way. I chose to place it somewhere where it doesn't interfere. As I am fairly tall it's not really in the way of anything. I think that http://www.tomtom.com is the best place to check the unit and options. I hear it's heading to the US in September.
