Ok Here's the real scoop!

My wife is a consultant and trainer to GM and Chrysler dealers. She trains warranty managers and service managers.

When I bought my 04 with 24,000 miles on it I she had me go to the local dealership and fill out a form. My wife checked a couple of weeks later and the [you can't do this] internal Chrysler web site had the warranty was transfered to me.

The warranty is 70,000 mile powertrain. I haven't had any problems with the car what so ever, in fact this is perhaps the most solid car I have ever owned...and I have owned a lot of cars!
