On mine they simply cut off a 1.5" section of the original pipe, rotated it then welded it back onto the magnaflow muffler and it worked very well. I left my resonator on so it is just 10-20% louder than stock. Just enough to sound good and no drone I used the magnaflow 14221. martosh79, the stock exhaust is pretty good and is stainless steel. i think you would be happy with just the muffler. I also have a pair of brand new tips for it I could sell you. I paid $100 for the tips, I would let them go for $85 since they are still new in the box.
