Fp, Yes I am under warranty..for about a year I have been taking the car in and out for the convertible top..it works a day, then doesnt..then he ghetto rigs it..then it doesnt work..so finally I just said its time for the lawyer. The Service Manager told me time and time again he was calling the Chrysler Engineers and seeing what he could do, but never got back to me with any real important information. They even got a certificed crossfire technician, and he couldnt figure it out....I really just dont know what to do anymore
The fact that it sounds like "he" knows how to rig it, he should have a very good understanding of the general problem.
hmmm... I would recommend getting with a regional rep for Chrysler and express your dissatisfaction with the ability of this dealer. While I understand it may be a pain to go to another dealer, you can call them and try to explain the problem and what the inferior maint shop was doing to rig it and see if they can explain it. I wouldn't think you would have the same problem from a Merc dealer.
