plug and try, i've connected a few hid kits from different cars, polarity doesn't really matter (you can connect the red or black to either pos or negative). the ballast is just a step up transformer, just boosts voltage to 1k or something. diff for diff brands.

if you wanna match pos with pos and neg with neg, get a voltmeter (multimeter), touch the points on the stock plug, it should read POSITIVE 12 or so volts, connect accordingly to the pos and neg on the voltmeter
