I would suspect that there is an alarm code that will tell them exactly what the issue is. A dealership might charge you for resetting the alarm but they shouldn't charge you for finding the reason. Good luck.
Well I'm under warranty so hopefully they wouldn't. Quick off-topic question about warranty. I am missing one of the caps on the driver's floor mat. One that holds the mat down to the floor. The car came with it missing. Wonder if they'll replace it for me under warranty?
