Break either rule and you might as well put it in Park because you are dead meat. However, if you cut people off, drive on the shoulder and stay at least 20 MPH over the posted limit no matter what the conditions, they will think you ar a native.

As a transplanted native of Massachusetts and long-time resident of Boston, I can tell you that being a foreigner to the state/city just means you won't know the "etiquette", but drivers don't really exploit that...much...
