Headers as a general rule only give you more power at the top of the rpm range and tend to slow your off the line speed. If you want faster zero to 60 times stock headers will do you fine. If your looking for the most hp on dyno runs of best top end then headers would be a good choice.
That's assuming you install a set of headers with primaries that are too large. A properly designed header will
always out perform an OEM manifold no matter what you are going after, 0-60, top speed etc.
