Personally I view this as an additional mod. CAI + EGR and air pump blockoffs + phenolic spacers = the coolest charge air temp you can expect in a Crossfire.

Basically this is exactly what we are going for. We wil be doing IR testing on the manifold before and after. This is not a SOTP or huge dyno mod. It basically is one step in achieving the most out of your car. If you can maintain cool and consistent IATs then you will have more predictable performance and better response.

For daily driven cars this will result in similar power both with the engine cool and hot not a large drop due to heat soak. For competitive folk it will result in better dialed in time and one less variable to worry about.

A mod like this will show more benfit the longer and harder the engine is pushed.
