This is an N/A model, but as you know, the layout in the front is the same. The intake filter element covers ~25% of the radiator's surface area in the grill area, which means less flow through the radiator, and less cooling. While you may get cool air to the engine, if an SRT-6 is pulling timing to compensate for high IATs, it doesn't really matter. Also, isn't the main tube aluminum? That tube's gotta heat up pretty quickly, much more than a plastic tube. While this can be mitigated with header wrap, you then lose the bling factor of shiny metal and cover up that lovely NeedsWings logo.
With all that said, if you're planning to put pulleys and other mods on an SRT-6, it seems like you could be fighting more heat issues with this intake than others.
lmao, yeah all those dyno's are lying that show 25-30whp increases in power with the intakes. everyone should stick with the stock intakes if they want to make more power
