NEVER use green coolant in German cars... EVER. If you sniff the stuff in German cars you'll notice it has a very acrid odor compared to the sweet odor of green and orange coolant formulations used by Domestic and Japanese manufacturers, and the properties are pretty different.

In fact, if you're ever low, it's a BETTER idea to top off with DISTILLED water than any kind of green or orange coolant.
