Well we decided to bring the car back down to the track after a long hiatus. Temps were in the high 90's. We lost 2 mph and 3 tenths. Only changes were the temp was 30 degrees hotter from last run and an increase of 20 RWHP! I complained a month ago about this clutch and I'm going to complain about it again. We've got a new motor coming in next week so we'll finally swap the clutch out with something with a little grip.
Sorry for the rant but this is frustrating!
Ok, driving like I stole it we got it down 2 tenths and picked up 2 mph. Still 0.05 sec and 0.48mph from our personal best.

You want nasty conditions for drag racing? Come to California Speedway where the wind is always blowing (usually right in your face, and often at 20mph or more) and the temps are known to exceed 110F on a regular basis. I've measured parking lot surface temps as high as 140F with ambient at 115F. Yep, that's what we get to play with out here in sunny SoCal.
