Out of nowhere the tires break loose. I'm in the left lane and my friends in the middle, so I'm trying not to hit him while trying not to hit the curb, so I'm pretty much throwing it back and forth, praying not to let it get too sideways (in third gear which made it very odd to modulate the gas to straighten out.) thankfully he moved and I straightened out. I'm pretty happy right now that I didn't damage either of our cars and no one got hurt. I've never been scared behind the wheel of that little car, but I guess there's a first time for everything! I know how the car behaves when its wet, I mean I have no problem controlling it in wet weather, even when I try to get sideways. I guess I'll take it easy in the rain from now on..
I have done the same thing, it was raining out and I asked the gf if she would like me to test how good the tires are in the rain. She said sure so I turned off the traction control and hit the gas a little. In .000002 seconds we were fishtailing towards the guard rail lmao. I got it straightened up and I looked over at her and said, "well I guess not that great lol"
