Having both the base cloth seat and the leather limited seat, I actually prefer the cloth seat.
The cloth seats seem to be flat and wider compared to the leather, something I prefer on long trips. The leather with all its adjustments seems to be harder to get comfortable to me. But I do agree the leather is easier to keep clean from the West Texas dust.
