My custom IC coolant tank was around $300 to fab (plus I paid a little more for the shinny aluminum cap VS a plastic one) - The shop that fabbed it up would absorb the cost of building a JIG if orders were for five or more. That's also how many tanks he could built per sheet of aluminum. But the truth is - you don't need new tank - the stock surge tank will work just great.

The main goal is to seperate the two coolant systems - So instead think about installing a new header/surge tank for the engine coolant. Lots tanks on the market by Moroso, Meziere and others (search JEGS for "surge tank")

I went with the Meziere tank because if fit like a glove on the radiator shroud with two bolts and connected to the existing hoses easily.

This mod should only cost you around $135 - new tank, hose fittings, 16Lb radiator cap, bolts, nuts, washers and hose clamps.

Screwdriver, drill, a few wrenches and razor/trim knife for tools.
