Default Re: Needswings Intake

Before any blame can be made the real failure mode needs to be discovered.

Buff thought it was the SC failure (IC Pump, IAT sensor or MAP sensor) that have been well documented on the forum when he took his ride in.

The Dealer said it was an ECU issue with the Air/Fuel ratio. One would "Assume" the dealer hooked the SRT6 to a diagnostic computer and found the failure mode.

That doesn't mean that the dealer didn't pop the hood and took one look at that "tuner lookin' intake" and say WTF?? and just blamed it on that without further diagnostic - - - but...

If the problem did go away when the stock air intake was put back on, then maybe something simple did happen with the NW install. Perhaps a fitting or clamp came loose during driving etc...that wasn't spotted.

But at least then you would know it was not the SC problem.
