I had a very similar experience so I feel your pain. The main lesson that I learned from my experience was that if it ever happened again I would get towed to the nearest Chrysler dealer. The local Service Manager is in a much better position to get you rolling again then is a tire place. He can also hook you up with a rental car. Going through Chrysler will also better position you for getting Chrysler to pay for the deal when it is done.

The local Service Manager has a vested interest in your happiness. He also wants to do the right thing for you. If you had got him face to face you might have had a better result. He has access to parts including tires that people outside the system can not get.
