I gently spray my top every other wash to get the dust off of it, then use very soft brush and go over the top gently and then rinse. I find that if I blot the top dry with a waffle microfibre drying towel I get almost no lint. I have Raggtop protectant on the top and it's amazing to see the water roll off. I'll use the Raggtop cleaner and protectant spray once a year.
