Maybe you have a dieing fuel pump, like I do. $80 off ebay and a quick install to replace it. I know theres a number of slk32 owners who have had dead fuel pumps...

Maybe you got a bad tank of gas? Who knows...

Maybe there is a short in a wire or something dumb and electrical, and bumping the engine area by swapping intakes fixed it.
