all of the gauges will work (you just have to know the voltage reference tables)
The CAN bus is the pathway for RPM, Accelerator Pedal Position, Secondary Restraint System (Airbags), Wheel Speed Sensors, Steering Angle Sensor, along with others. Having been in accidents with airbag deployment, I'd like to keep this.
