Young Grasshopper, you must have the right key. Jackson key usually works.
Seriously, If they had the correct key it should have worked. Try a different stereo shop.
PS I was watching the Olympics and they were showing the Sholin Temple where the Monks learn Kung Fu and I had a momentary flashback.
