We're thinking about doing the same thing at our place. It's tempting especially for the reasons you mention, 70. The only downer would be doing that in winter........not that I don't already drive in the dark in the morning & drive in the dark at night plus then I'd be gone 12 hours a day instead of 10.

So far so good. I like having a 3 day weekend every week. I have Mondays off.
Winter could be tough..but it is pretty dark anway.
Yeah but your hours turn in to 48 instead of 50....
