I'm thinking with the low miles, there might be varnish on the top engine parts that needs to be cleaned out.
I suppose a high flow air filter wouldn't hurt either.

Assuming your car isn't broken,. this is standard due to the programming of the drive-by-wire throttle.
High-flow air filters will not help, nor will varnish removal.
