Re: Problems with LET
We do a lot of business as many of you know and its basically the same for us. The bad thing about being a small tuner is that you need to rely on a fab shop to make your products and a lot of the time you can't buy a large quantity up front and have to order as supply demands. This works for a little bit, but eventually you need to keep stock.
I'd love to carry twice as many products, but the lead times to get them out to customers would be ridiculous. I feel bad for the 4-6 week wait on our phenolic spacers, but we offered a substantial discount to compensate.
Erik is a good guy, but this is not his only job. As much as we would all love for this to bring in all the money, the exposure just isnt there yet. When you do business with a smaller company this tends to be the trade off. Money saved, time wasted. This is by no means a justification for Erick or our delays in shipping anything, just my POV.
Telling a customer something is being shipped when it isn't is just a recipe for disaster. I learned that early on with CTD and Sprintboosters. We cut back our product offering, but do have everything in stock that is on our website, except where noted.
All I need is a person dedicated to fulfilling and shipping orders and we'll be right up there with Jegs and Summit.
