Default Re: Tool to remove seat bolt?

Yes - I moved the seat all the way forward and reached in with a large screwdriver. The dang thing slid into a box channel towards the rear of the seat support. It fits in perfectly and I cannot get leverage to slide sideways (towards the console) and out.

I bought a set of "internal star sockets" at Autozone. Six point - not 5!

Questions remain - are there only four bolts and are there any tricks to getting the seat out and then back in. I did a search and read the suggestion about putting something over the plastic threshold so I don't scratch it. I wasn't planning to take the seat out entirely - just remove the bolts and tilt it so I can reach the freaking phone.
