The lightning requires to swap tops and either get a ford plug or use spades to tap the wires. Stock bracket is used with no modifying. The johnson has different size inlet/outlet so a different hose or clamps are needed along with modifying the stock bracket that holds the pump. Wires connections pretty much the same as lightning pump.

I may just go for the lightning pump and see what happens.
