Did you buy it new? As in 05' and been a daily driver since? I'm mainly talking about no original owners who drive their cars has reported one going out. My car only had 200 miles on it when I bought it, and the pump was fine. I just changed it to be sure. It did sit for over 2 years and needed a fuel pump and headlights. Even the wipers were shot. I suspect these pumps are going out from sitting too long without spinning or anything. Most have the magnetic propeller cracked.
