Had the same problem with my 2004 Nissan Xterra. Fuel economy dropped to about 8 mpg & I could not get it up to 65 mph (where 85 was never a problem before). Suggestions from "Ask the Expert" started with clogged fuel filter, to bad fuel pump, to possible exhaust leak. I traded it in for my 2005 Crossfire!!!!
