It is amazing how much you can store in a 3.5" tall storage area. It works great and it is not WASTED SPACE - IT IS WORTH EVERY INCH OF IT!

I have since organized it with almost every tool I would need to make a minor repair or help others.

PS PPRO - my only concern about your set-up is how do you easily get to your spare tire hardware/tools? You mentioned the original panel was still in place.
