Don't kid yourself, air is cool! Youd be saying the same thing if the electric actuator went out on it only you'd be crawling over the seats adn craming yourself into the back hatch with a screwdriver taking off the interior trim and prayin to god you could get it spun around some how. I love the air locks, thay have more mechanical force, make a cool littel noise when you hit them and c'mon, they "slide" up and down so smoothly!

Glad to hear you got it figured out though. Kinda wonder about why the plastic got brittle and cracked. that stuff is usually pretty resiliant and tough and takes a lot to mess up. If I were you, I'd take the time to just run a whole new line tothe hatch instead of patching the hose that went bad because you don't know what's in the lines now and with you getting it all unlocked, bee a good time do that. Would hate to see thie being the precursor to something going wrong with all of them. You know how hard it is to crawl over this center console in our cars if you're not a midget(in all political correctness, little person).
