The Crossfire is an awesome car for the money. The car handles beautifully, and is more quick than fast. To answer a few of your questions:

Maintenance can be high, remember it is an Mercedes Benz in Chrysler clothing.

The car requires Premium gas.

There is NO SPARE TIRE.

It has a high safety rating/crash test.

If you live in an area that has snow, you will need a snow tire package and should not be driven in deep snow if possible.

The Crossfire Roadster Limited at inception in 2005 was $41K, you can get a good used one for around $16 - $20K. If you search dealers you may be able to pick up a left over 2006 or 2007 for about $28K.
