Default Re: Buying a Crossfire - please advise!

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I've got a line on two different SRT Roadsters right now, running under 25k miles on them. The cheaper of the two is the one I want since it's in basic black. I've already worked up insurance quotes and have financing in place; now it's just down to the haggling.

If not an SRT roadster, a Limited Roadster w/6 speed manual would do nicely. There's a few of them I've found, some even with original factory warranty remaining. We'll see, though - I'm really fighting the urge to go get one right away, and hold out for the best deal on a car that I can live with, no regrets.

It's good to know about the window/canvas issues that some of you have had. Is there any good fix for that for do-it-yourself or vehicles that are out of warranty? Any idea of the cause?

And I am starting to feel less apprehensive about the tires as well. They'll likely be more expensive than the ones on my Jeep, but then again I'm not going to track with this thing every weekend smoking the tires.

Please keep the ideas flowing. I'll be looking at the For Sale forum even more this week as things get down to the wire.
