I'm getting pretty close to making a decision on a Crossfire, but the whole "no spare tire rule" kinda has me concerned. I LOVE the car, but not too crazy about applying some stupid gobbly-glue to a flat tire. I mean, even my Miata has a donut!... Any alternatives? Has anyone ever been stranded even after applying the glue and filling the tire? Is this now a common practice with car companies not to include a spare or even a donut these days? What Crossfire competition also fails to include a donut and simply supplies the glue and pump instead?

I've had a total of 3 nails in my rear tires.. took them to Goodyear and got them fixed.. had to buy a new tire one time. Never got "stranded" and had to use the goo.
That being said.. take a look at why you don't have a spare.. 18's in the front 19's in the back, and look at the trunk. Now, are you really complaining?
