Its funny this is the car you narrowed it down to. I think this car is awesome. Its much more unique and rare than a corvette and its styling is just awesome. However you must keep in mind this is no dragster. The XLR-V certainly is but this car is predominantly about cruising and touring... much as the Crossfire was originally marketed as if I recall. I have heard rave reviews about the car. However youtube the Top Gear review of the XLR... they bash it as usual with all american cars! Still fun to watch though. Best of luck to you I think you made a great choice... if I can afford one when I get tired of the Crossfire the XLR is certainly on my short list. That and the BMW zed3 or zed4 M coupe.
