Also dont forget that leaving a car for 2.5 weeks with the alarm on will drain your battery.
Not true - I replaced the stock battery in my '04 last year. I always have mine alarmed, and have let it sit for over three weeks and it cranks right up...
But, it is mad that I have been away so long!
