Default Re: New Challenger SRT's at the drags...

6 speed, 10 speed it doesn't matter to me, it's still too heavy. Put a 6 speed or 10 speed in an SRT6 and see what happens there. Don't get me wrong, I've been a big fan way back when the Challenger came out since my cousin owned several of them and I enjoyed them all. I just don't like heavy cars and that is why I choose light weight over anything else. A more nimble lighter car to me is a lot more fun to drive. A stock SRT-6 and stock SRT-8 run about the same at the track, and the SRT-6 has 100 less hp. What does that tell you? We are all different and express our own views, which is a great thing or we wouldn't have anything to debate about. Just picture a new SRT-8 at about 3300 lbs, now that would be awesome and kick some serious a$$ off and on the drag strips. What can I say, I'm a power to weight type of guy!
