high flow = low back pressure. Isn't that what Eisenhaus or Borla does? All low restriction exhaust system will give you more hp at the high end with some loss of torque at the low end. The trick is to balance the two effects...Unless you can come up with a variable baffle systemmmI think the Maxima had something like that...
IMO I don't think you'll lose a TON of torque...
