Exactly - balance and design. This one was designed for a 330hp setup that has a ton of low end torque by design. Ours is another story. I would worry more about a torqure curve than a 5% gain on the top end. My hope is that someone makes and exhaust that sounds better, covers up the valve sound and helps the torque curve rather than hamper it.
