Their logic could be interpreted somewhat like: A driver looking for a performance sports car would probably be attracted to the Corvette or Boxster instead of the SRT-6. (Oh, by the way, $45K puts you into a used 96-00 Viper.) So that leaves the SRT-6 buyer as someone who's not looking for performance above all else; they would probably be turned off by the stiff SRT-6 ride. So the car doesn't really meet the needs of group A or group B. Which leaves who? Someone who doesn't really care about all-out performance and who doesn't mind the stiff ride and who really likes the Crossfire lines over anything else he can buy for $45K. I'm afraid that doesn't leave many buyers. I wouldn't be surprised if that's reflected in low numbers of SRT-6 sales.
