I respect the heck out of your inginuity and what not, but its hard for me to grasp your train of though on this one.
I believe BAS/ESP has to do with the brakes. Overheating also seems unrelated to an oversized crank pulley. If the car nose diving under deceleration is going to destroy a crank pulley by causing it to snap back and forth then it wasnt on tight in the first place.
IIRC, didnt you have to modify your crank pulley to get it to sit flush on the crank? Wondering if this has anything to do with the fact that your the only one with the keyway problem. Im not blaming, simply wondering.
I do agree there are more problems then what should be going on, but the causes are being remedied as they appear. Its got the gears in my head turning(Waldig close).
