Just Read the SLK 300 Marketing Materials
OK, I know that I would probably be singing a different tune if I just dropped $55K on a new 2009 Mercedes SLK 300, but after reading the materials about the vehicle, I'm just sitting here shaking my head.
Roughly the same engine power/torque/0-60
Pretty much the same layout
Creature Electronics pretty much the same (given my upgrades)
styling not as nice as Crossfire (though the front end is interesting)
I figure I have $40K still in my net worth somewhere and am having $55K worth of fun with the car I have.
I'm about 300% sure I will never convince an SLK 300 owner of this but it strikes me that it's mainly because he didn't have to go to the Sprinter site and buy a stick-on Mercedes-Benz badge - he just ponied up the extra $40K and got one with a free car!
Damn I love my Crossfire...
