Hal, I agree. Possible manufacture defect, maybe old seals, are they "umbrellas"? Be interesting to know the serial #s of the cars posted and dates of manufacture. Of +/- 85,000 Crossfires produced, this forum is a small fraction of those. How wide spread is this problem. Maybe 2 isolated similar cases?
